چکیده

In Mobile Ad hoc Networks congestion control and prevention are demanding because of network node mobility dynamic topology. Congestion occurs primarily due to the large traffic volume in case data flow rate inflow is higher than packets on node. This alteration sending results routing delays low throughput. The Rate a significant concern streaming applications, especially wireless networks. TCP friendly method extensively recognized as mechanism for wired networks, which effective minimizing packet loss (PL) event congestion. this paper, we propose delay prediction based PL Explicit Delay Acknowledgement (EDA) MANET minimize improve experiment performed over reactive protocol reduce loss, jitter, improvisation

Multipath Routing Protocol for Reducing Congestion and Delay in MANET

In this paper, a congestion aware multipath routing protocol in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) is proposed. The paths which have better bandwidth will be initially selected. For selected paths, first the congestion status of the node is found by using the early congestion detection technique which is based on the queue status and data arrival rate of the nodes. The delay includes weighted chann...

Delay-based AIMD congestion control

Our interest in the paper is investigating whether it is feasible to make modifications to the TCP congestion control algorithm to achieve greater decoupling between the performance of TCP and the level of buffer provisioning in the network. In this paper we propose a new family of delay-based congestion control algorithms that we refer to as delay-based AIMD.

The Case for Delay-based Congestion Control

We argue that, in the absence of explicit feedback, delaybased algorithms become the preferred approach for endto-end congestion control as networks scale up in capacity. Their advantage is small at low speed but decisive at high speed. The distinction between packet-level and flow-level problems of the current TCP exposes the difficulty of lossbased algorithms at large congestion windows.
